December Wrap-Up

NEW BOOKS!
On Tuesday, two days before Christmas and the second night of Hannukah, Hope Tarr and Jennie Lucas each released a great read. If you didn’t get these in your stocking or with your menorah, go gift yourself.

Jennie Lucas’s Italian Prince, Wedlocked Wife, a Harlequin Mills&Boon, (complete with all that M+B are known for in the alpha male/high drama department), features a prince and a poverty-sticken single mother. Jennie supports her sweeping story with some wonderful tidbits about how the story came to be in her MORE TO THE STORY feature on her site.

Hope Tarr’s Every Breath You Take…, a Harlequin Blaze (complete with all that Blazes are known for in the love scene department), is her exciting FBI-spy chase novel set in sexy Belize with a The One Who Got Away romantic theme. And as every Hope Tarr book prominently co-stars furry friends, click over to Hope’s ANIMALS IN THE STORY online feature to get the four-footed scoop.

New Online Excerpts to savor:
Samantha James wraps up her sweeping McBride trilogy in a couple of months. Catch the online excerpt for Bride of a Wicked Scotsman on her site.

Alisa Kwitney, writing as Alisa Sheckley, will release The Better to Hold You in February. Link over to Alisa’s new SciFi / Fantasy / Paranormal excerpt on her site.

New Online Exclusives:
Joy Nash gives readers a special online exclusive treat with Grandma’s House, A Modern Day Fairy Tale — a short story posted in its entirety on her site. Like it? Check out The Naughty List, another online short story featuring a heartwarming Christmas tale.

And, MOVIES! (Yes, movies… actually, just the one movie, but also an exclusive video!) Jane Porter’s Flirting with Forty was made into a Lifetime movie this year starring Heather Locklear and a young hottie named Rob Buckley. It played many times in December and can now be seen in its entirety on the Lifetime site. Jane has a lot of extra fun stuff to see on her site about the making of the movie. Check out her all things movie section on her site.

And one more video treat: Jane filmed an exclusive short video introducing her upcoming book Easy on the Eyes. Enjoy!

Lots more coming next month (well, this month now, but no holidays in January, so we will be on target at the end of the month). Be sure to check back.
