		<description>See, I really like this post. It&#039;s a good reminder for me to let the language do the talking, instead of the jargon do the confusing. I adore Jane Porter and how she conveys her excitement and how she feels and thinks about events in her life in a way that makes me think, &quot;I know her. I like her.&quot; You definitely &lt;i&gt;want&lt;/i&gt; the reader to identify with you as the author, because a personal connection is a bond that&#039;ll make the reader stay with you through hard times and a lean book (god forbid!).</description>

We&#039;re used to talking to friends we have already &quot;educated&quot; on our world and people love to short-hand in conversation. We forget that perfect strangers wander into our sites. For some of us (ie me)this is particularly challenging! But as you point out, worth the effort. So I should probably make more of an effort. *sigh* One more thing to think about...</description>
