May Wrap-Up

I love that my job allows me to savor books before they are actually on the shelves. But these first few are all now available. As for the rest, catch an excerpt until you can have the whole thing…

NEW BOOKS:

ELOISA JAMES shines. This Duchess of Mine, the fifth Desperate Duchesses installment — the long-awaited tale of Jemma, lands on shelves today. Website Value-Add: Eloisa writes an EloisaJames.com exclusive extra chapter for every book. The chapter for When the Duke Returns was just posted — in stunning new interface — in May ($-free and spam-free registration required…. exclusive, baby!).

JOY NASH enchants. A Little Light Magic hit shelves today. I have personally been looking forward to this book since 2004, when Joy told me the concept and snuck me a peek at the first few chapters. Website Value-Add: Joy treats readers to nice photo tour of the Jersey Shore, where the book takes place.

DIANE GASTON joins forces. She and two other fabulous authors released The Diamonds of Welbourne Manor, an anthology with three wonderfully connected stories. Diane’s novella is titled Justine and the Noble Viscount. Website Value-Add: Diane’s Behind the Book online features a wonderful peek into the research and writing of this book, not only her novella, but how the three authors conceived their project — I love that kind of book extra!

JENNIE LUCAS hits number one. Virgin Mistress, Scandalous Love-Child enjoyed ten straight days at the top slot on the eHarlequin ebook bestseller list. Website Value-Add: Jennie’s More to the Story tells us a little about her own personal inspiration for the book… and a cute photo of her first “baby”.

ALISA KWITNEY burns. Writing as Alisa Sheckley, Moonburn was released mid-month, continuing the story of the werewolf’s wife. Website Value-Add: the theme song for the series, sung by the author herself.

SUSAN ANDERSEN gets Hot and Bothered… again. The 2004 favorite is repackaged with a cute new cover. Website Value-Add: We show both covers, original and new. Just for fun… because Susan is always about fun!
