From all of us, to all of you…
The holidays are once again upon us! It’s chilly in Oakland, and the weather got us thinking. In lieu of a bunch of postage and printed cards, we have adopted a penguin for this year 
through ChangingThePresent.com (last year we were all about the polar bear). One thing quickly led to another in our creative haven and our e-card was designed. (Click to make it bigger!)
From left to right, Tarrin is a confident, over-six-feet tall cupcake baker (we all envy her view of the world). Misono, always smiling, regularly arrives to work with the most beautiful barrettes and ponytail holders (she swears by Etsy). Abi telecommutes, and sometimes she forgets the headset is on her head (and of course there is all that tech support!). My hands are almost always cold, so I am rarely separated from my fingerless gloves (see children’s book, The Penguin That Hated the Cold for my life story.) Estella loves tee shirts with slogans, and many of them shout out how cool our town is. (My personal favorite features a dinosaur with voice bubble: “All my friends are dead.” Kills me every time.) And Iana’s favorite color is pink. (Seriously, it’s a thing.)
We are happy to be one with the penguins this year.
