We’re loving Michael Spradlin’s guest blog at Imagination Soup about “The Kid Who Doesn’t Like to Read (TKWDLTR) Syndrome” and his proposed comic book cure. Comics as exciting, vocabulary-building reading that will keep kids engaged—why not? As Michael says, in the face of the literacy crisis among kids, “Any reading is good reading.” We concur! High literature can always follow.
