OUR VIP ROOM: This content-rich subsite contains extensive information about how to reach your web presence goals by building and maintaining the best site possible. We’ve made it easy to use… very browsable. There are a wide range of articles covering topics such as strategy (i.e., how to choose an excerpt for today’s market, the changing role of newsletters, how to make a contest work for you), to tips on dealing with intergrating social networking feeds into your site, as well as references about how to work with us: how to send in content, whom to conact for what, etc, etc. There are whole sections for sites in development, for WordPress, and for hosting, etc. And it’s organized to help you make the best choices on your own without having to ask for help—although we are always available to find hte info for you, or simply engage in a conversation.
If you are a potential client, and understanding the level of support that exists under the hood is important to you, please ask about Client Resources when you request a proposal.
Although the Client Resources section is aimed at our author clients, most of it is helpful for our other clients as well.
ONCE UPON A TIME, when WordPress was solely a blogging platform, widgets were sold in hardware stores, and the idea of “smart” phone didn’t compute, there was little opportunity for folks to update sites without expensive software or a lot of training. So we created something that did. WaxTools is cumbersome by today’s standards, but a decade ago it was revolutionary in helping clients help themselves. No longer compatible with our advanced server settings, we employ WordPress to deliver dynamic content, and are working to transition clients still on WaxTools.
